DongSeo Mu
A building that is made with 3kan, which stands at the left side (in the
east) and the right side (in the west). Here 18 Sages of our country were
enshrined, however, after restoring the independence of our country from
Japan, that is, in 1951 A.D., they were moved to be enshrined at the east
and west walls. Currently the vessels for memorial service of the deceased
are kept in custody. |

Nae Sam Mu
It is the entrance-exit door for going through the east gate and coming
out through the west gate at the time of Great Confucius Memorial Ceremony
and attaining divine enlightenment. The middle gate is the divine road for
admitting only ritual food or a written prayer. |

A building made with 3 kan at the right side of Myeong Ryun Dang. This is

Seo Jae
A building made with 3 kan, which places at the left side of Myeong Ryun
Dang. This is the place where Confucian students dwelled. Presently it is

Mun Hoe Jae
A building also known as Sa Ma Jae. Its original location was at the east
side of Hyang Gyo. This was the place where Saengwon, persons who passed
the minor civil examination and Jinsa, persons who passed he primary state
examination, took lessons and trained themselves. They took example to treat
Saengwon and Jinsa counteously by purchasing Jeonto, which is the crop field,
in the rural districts. Every year, 30 seok which is equivalent to about
1,428 gallons of yellow millet were uniformly designated and were awaited
until the following examination year, that is, the year when the civil service
examination wa to be taken. When they were to be educated at the Sangjang
(in ancient days, a kind of college where noble men's children were taught),
it was handed over to them, It is now used for lecture room of the Confucian
College. |

Yang Sa Jae
A buliding also known as Yuk Yeong Jae, which originally located at the
south side of Hyang Gyo. As the number of learned men who wanted to go on
to the next stage of their education was increased day by day in the middle
of the Joseon Dynasty, it became impossible to accomodate all of them. Therefore,
this study building was installed. Currently it is used for calligraphy
and lecture rooms. |

Oe Sam Mun
This is the main gate of our Hyang Gyo for entering and exiting, where people
enter through the East Gate and come our through the West Gate. The Middle
Gate is the divineroad so that the public cannot pass carelessly. |

Yurim Hoegwan
It is used as the all-purpose 2-story building with tiles constructed of
cement steel frame, completed in 1998.

Bi Gak, a pavilion for a monument
This pavilion is made with 4 gates, which is placed at the left side of
inner road of the Hong Jeon Mun. It is the building which protects tombstones
where the history of Hyang Gyo and the records of re-building or repairing
were engraved. The tombstones are all 9 seats. |

Infomation Board
It locates between the Bi Gak and the Ha Ma Bi. It is an information board
of our Hyang Gyo, where English is written together, following the fashions

Ha Ma Bi
It locates beside the Bi Gak at the south side of Myeong Run Dang. This
was a mark in the old times which indicated that all the people regardless
of whether they were old or young had to get off from their horses. |
